We began with the SMCC platform and quickly moved into developing custom control systems with the introduction of the original PMAC in 1992. Since then, we’ve continued to develop systems with each new generation, right up to today’s latest PPMAC versions.

In 2015, Delta Tau was acquired by Omron—a move that only strengthened the company’s presence in the motion control industry. These controllers are essential in industries like semiconductor manufacturing, where their precision and capabilities are unmatched. Under Omron, production has scaled significantly, making these controllers more accessible than ever before.
